Rare Innovations is an independent not-for profit led by Dr Nigel Banister and Ajay Kathrani.
Nigel
has a personal and professional interest in life science and biotechnology. Nigel has more than 25 years of management experience in both the private and public sectors, including experience of both pharmaceutical and industrial biotech sectors from start-ups to ‘big pharma’. Nigel enjoys researching complex issues, developing linkages and discoveries that provide new solutions and opportunities.
Ajay
has worked across a broad range of sectors and disciplines developing, commissioning and managing innovative products and services. Through this time he has developed expertise in business strategy, innovation management and research commercialisation. Ajay has a specific interest on how collaborative innovation can deliver new business models that create public value.
